Ingredients for Palak Paneer Recipe:
500gm palak(spinach) |
1 onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon ginger paste |
1 tablespoon garlic paste |
1/2 cup cream |
250 gm paneer (Indian cheese), cubed |
1 teaspoon cumin seeds |
1 teaspoon coriander seeds |
1/2 teaspoon garam masala |
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons oil |
Method to cook Palak Paneer:
- Wash the palak(spinach) and blanch it in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and blend into a puree.
- In a Vardaan Stainless Steel TRIO SALS Frying Pan, heat the oil and add the cumin and coriander seeds. Fry until fragrant.
- Add the onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Fry until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Add the palak(spinach) puree, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes, until the flavors have melded together.
- Add the cream and paneer. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is heated through.
- Serve hot with rice or bread.
