Ingredients for Palak Paneer Recipe:

 

500gm palak(spinach)
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1/2 cup cream
250 gm paneer (Indian cheese), cubed
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil

Method to cook Palak Paneer:

 

  • Wash the palak(spinach) and blanch it in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and blend into a puree.
  • In a Vardaan Stainless Steel TRIO SALS Frying Pan, heat the oil and add the cumin and coriander seeds. Fry until fragrant.
  • Add the onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Fry until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Add the palak(spinach) puree, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 10-15 minutes, until the flavors have melded together.
  • Add the cream and paneer. Cook for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is heated through.
  • Serve hot with rice or bread.

Cooking time: 30-35 minutes
