Ingredients for Vegetable Pulao Recipe:


1 cup basmati rice
2 cups mixed vegetables (such as carrots, peas, and green beans), chopped
1 onion, sliced
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil
2 cups water
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves

Method for Vegetable Pulao Recipe:


  • Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.
  • In a Vardaan Encapsulated Stainless Steel Frying Pan, heat the oil and add the cumin and coriander seeds. Fry until fragrant.
  • Add the onion, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Fry until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Add the mixed vegetables, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add the rice and water to the pot. Mix well.
  • Cover the pot with a lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, until the rice is fully cooked and the water has been absorbed. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.

Cooking time: 45 minutes
